Personal data protection charter

In accordance with European regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (called “General Data Protection Regulation” or GDPR), this Charter (here after the “Charter”) describes the manner in which NEUROWIDE SAS (hereinafter “the Publisher”) treats your personal data as a processing Manager via *.neurowide.com websites it being understood that the alias * corresponds to all the sub-domains of neurowide.com (hereinafter the “Site”). This processing takes place in accordance with the privacy and protection of the personal data of its users.

This Charter informs you of the conditions under which the Publisher obtains, uses and stores your personal data (hereinafter referred to as the "Data"). The Data that we may collect, process and/or transmit when you access and/or use the Site are described here.

This Charter may be updated according to the evolution of the law and the data processed. If any clauses of this Charter were to be declared null and void or contrary to the regulations, it shall be deemed unwritten but shall not result in the nullity of the other clauses of this Charter.

The Charter applies to Data collected :

·         by simply browsing the Site ;

·         when you make a contact request on the Site ;

·         when you subscribe to our newsletter on the Site ;

·         when you leave us an opinion or a suggestion on the Site.

The Charter will not apply to information collected by third parties (site, applications, advertising, etc.) sending you to the Site. By browsing the Site, you accept the application of this Charter without reservation. You remain responsible for the compliance of the data that you provide to us via the Site.

What data is collected ?

Depending on your use of the Site (requesting contact, registering for the newsletter, submitting an opinion or suggestion, etc.), the Publisher may collect the following Data:

·         your e-mail address for all electronic communications with the Publisher ;

·         your identity for any contact request, leave a review or a suggestion : surname, first name, e-mail address, name of your company or organisation ;

·         Data relating to use of and browsing on the Site : geographical location, browser used, operating system of the device used, pages viewed, etc.

Data collection mode

Some Data is collected directly when you fill in contact forms, evaluation forms, etc... By entering this Data, you consent to its use in accordance with the completion of its processing.

Other Data may be collected indirectly through the use of third-party services for statistical monitoring of the Site with the help of Cookies/Trackers. Your consent to the use of those cookies is requested upon your first login. By continuing to browse the Site, and only if you have not withdrawn your consent during this first consultation, these cookies will be stored.

Objectives of data collection

As a user of the Site, your Data is collected according to your consent :

·         to enable you to contact us via our contact form ;

·         to enable us to send you our newsletter ;

·         to enable you to leave a review, an opinion or a suggestion.

Cookies/Trackers collect data to:

·         analyse and monitor traffic on the Site for statistical purposes in order to improve the Site and monitor its performance.

Refusal to fill in all or part of the data on certain forms may make it impossible to use the services provided.

Who processes your data ?

The Data concerning you for the management of the Site and for our exchanges of messages are processed by the Publisher's staff or service providers. Certain Data may be communicated to subcontractors, in particular for statistical monitoring. Each of these parties is bound by a confidentiality agreement concerning the use and processing of personal data.

How long we keep your data

The Publisher retains your Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above. This retention period varies according to the Data and its nature. The objective pursued is likely to vary this period. Certain legal obligations impose a specific retention period.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your e-mail address will be stored until you unsubscribe.

When you contact us using our dedicated forms, your Data may be kept for up to 3 (three) years following your last contact.

Finally, the Data collected by means of Cookies/Trackers may be kept for up to 25 (twenty-five) months.

Protecting your data

The Data you provide is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall and antivirus software. All technical and organisational measures are taken to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your Data against accidental loss and against unauthorised access, use, modification and disclosure.

However, it is impossible to guarantee optimum security for exchanges of information on the Internet. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted via the Site. You transmit your Data at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with the confidentiality parameters or security measures in place on the Site.

Your rights

You have the possibility of expressing your consent or your refusal to the collection and use of your Data that you transmit to us:

·         the Site may be used without the use of Cookies/Trackers. In this case, certain parts of the Site may malfunction or be partially unavailable,

·         you may refuse the collection of your contact details when entering your information. In this case, it will be impossible to contact us via these forms.

In accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (the "GDPR") and the Act of 6 January 1978 n°78-17 known as "Informatique et Libertés" and its amendments, you have a right of access and a right to rectify your Data.

In addition, subject to the conditions laid down by the aforementioned regulations for exercising these rights, you benefit from :

·         a right to the deletion of your Data ;

·         a right to limit the processing of your Data ;

·         a right to object to the processing of your Data on legitimate grounds, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR ;

·         a right to the portability of the Data you have provided (for automated processing based on consent or the performance of a contract) ;

·         the right to withdraw consent. Where the processing of your Data is carried out on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.

You may exercise these rights by sending an e-mail in English or French to dpo@neurowide.com. The Publisher may ask you to prove your identity before modifying or deleting your personal data.

We will endeavour to respond to your request within a timeframe that complies with the legal requirements in force. In the event of an unsatisfactory response from us, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés (CNIL).
